Society, this term is not easy to define. The word society means people and their community. A man is a very social animal. He is dependent upon other people for his basic needs like the clothes, food and shelter. Society is formed by people. The communication and interaction between the various people make them more dependent and close. The society can be defined as an extended social group having a distinctive cultural and economic organization. It is a formal association of people with similar interests. When there is a society, there is always a culture. A culture means how the people living in the society react, their values and beliefs whether religious or cultural. World has large number of people and so is the number of societies. The culture of every society is different.
The European society may be consisting of people of Europe. Computer society will constitute people related to computer. People of every society have their own beliefs. Similarly, culture and religious aspects of any community are also different. Every community has some particular language. Like in hills, people of lower hills speak a language totally different than the language spoken in upper hills. Similarly, language spoken in two states is different. People of every society have their own specific attires. A society can be defined as a system which composes of many parts that we call members, and these are intelligent systems or societies themselves. Since the basic building block of societies is the intelligent system, it has all the properties of an intelligent system. It may have other properties, since it is composed of many intelligent systems. Its objectives are the common objectives of its members. Society is governed by the behavior of people.
A society can be made distinctive if it is divided by surroundings like boundaries and culture .A population marked by relative separation from the surrounding populations and a distinctive culture (complex societies may include two or more distinctive cultural groups incorporated within a single social system). Every society has some cultures and traditions. Customs of a society have to be followed by its members. Look a society is not made by a single member. The various people come across each other. They agree to follow same set of rules and traditions. There are many issues that are part of society like family trends, education, gender issues, calendar, and races. Apart from the general behavior of group of people who are part of society, there are other things which are very important like religious beliefs or various issues related to a society. There are various issues which are related to a society like age discrimination, animal right, financial reforms, civil rights, child marriage. When the rules or regulations governing any society are to amended the all over effect on the society as a whole has to be seen. If member of any society break the rule of the community or society, it is a matter of concern for the people of the whole community. Some type of action can be taken in such a case so that other members respect the dignity of culture of a society.
